This is a culmination of sonic sketches in tribute to the island of Puerto Rico from two different perspectives: from that of an islander now living in the states, and that of a statesider now living on the island. These recordings focus on submitting to a forceful presence on the island that is indescribable through words. It is an appreciation for a natural environment that is both beautiful and terrifying, a place of extreme light and darkness.
